As the first month of 2016 draws to an end, we’re taking a look back at how a few of our team have either been battling through or embracing January….
Katie got creative
“Wet weekends are perfect for getting creative with your home décor and giving tired looking walls a lick of paint. I’ve packed away my faux furs and winter reds and replaced them with fresh whites and sparkles of silver”.
Carole took it slow
“On cold winter nights there’s nothing better than arriving home to the aroma of hearty slow-cooked food and sitting down for dinner with the family.”
Brad got beach-ready
“I didn’t want to flock to the gym with the crowds, so found a personal trainer app instead, to help me shed the Christmas pounds”
Gemma got away from it all
“There are a lot of good deals around during January and February, so I booked a last minute weekend break to Edinburgh for a fraction of the price of what it would have normally cost me, which meant more money for shopping!”
Laura turned grey gracefully
“Dark, cold nights are the perfect excuse for pampering yourself and cosying up on the sofa in front of the TV. Grey’s Anatomy is helping me get through January just fine!”
